There are a few government plans that cover their citizens while in Ontario. For international students, employees, and visitors, that’s UHIP. Travel emergency medical services during an approved leave of absence if you have exceeded the maximum trip duration. Lab services or clinical pathology, unless specifically included. Expenses for travel time, mileage, or telephone advice. Hospital visits solely for drug administration. Drugs, unless administered during a hospital stay.
